Before half term, Carr Hill Dance Academy were asked to open the Wyre & Fylde Dance Competition at the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom. The theme for this year is 'Wonderland', and the competition saw many schools from across Wyre and Fylde competing for a place in the final. The Dance Academy wowed everyone with a range of tricks and complicated dance moves, referencing the circus and all the excitement that entails. Well done to the dancers who took part, many of who devote themselves to many other time-consuming or extra-curricular activities, as well as committing to the Dance Academy training and competitions.

We are pleased to announce that Carr Hill Dance Academy have been selected to go through to the final, which will take place at the Blackpool Opera House, Winter Gardens, on the 18th May, where they will be competing against schools from all over Lancashire. Good luck!
