Top employers attend Carr Hill Careers Fair

 

Representatives from employers from industries including construction, engineering, armed forces, sport, law and more spoke to students about apprenticeship and training opportunities within their organisations. There was also the opportunities to speak to colleges, training providers and advice services about apprenticeships in general.  

 

Eight former Carr Hill students were in attendance at the event representing the company’s they now work for, speaking to students about their recent experiences of applying and undertaking an apprenticeship or training.

 

Personal Development Leader Mr Beale said: “The Careers and Apprenticeship fair was open to all our Year 10 and Year 11 students. It was designed to provide our students with further knowledge about the many apprenticeship and training routes available to them.  I was delighted to see so many former students, all of whom are enjoying successful careers, speaking so positively about their apprenticeship experiences with our current students.”
