Over 100 students took part in Carr Hill’s annual Dance Display 2019.

There were over 50 performances from the Dance Academy, Elite Dance Company, Boys’ Dance Company, the Year 7 Dance Club and many others.  This year’s theme was ‘This Moment’ and featured both modern and contemporary dance routines with some pieces choreographed by Dance Teacher Miss O’Connor, others by former student Eliza Tiffen and others by the students themselves.”

Miss O’Connor said: “ A huge well done to each and every single one of our fantastic students who performed at this event. You have all worked incredibly hard, shown true commitment, dedication and above all, professionalism.”

The Dance Display also happened in the same week that the school’s Dance Academy competed, for the first time, in the Wyre & Fylde Dance Competition at Blackpool Tower Ballroom, achieving an impressive second place position.

Some of the Videos from the Display can be viewed on the school YouTube channel here
