Students were invited to Blackpool Sixth to attend a lecture given by Professor Edith Hall, a British scholar of classics and Professor at King's College, London.

Year 9 and 10 attended the lecture which focused on Aristotle and why he is the most important man in the entirety of human history. Students will be able to use the information they learnt throughout their GCSE Religious Studies course.

The lecture also gave students a taster of the sort of topics which are likely to be explored during A Level Religious Studies, Philosophy and Classics courses.
