Students experience Swan Lake

Year 9 and Year 10 BTEC Dance students travelled to The Lowry Theatre in Manchester to experience one of the most famous and popular ballets of all time.

Students experienced English choreographer Matthew Bourne’s exciting re-imagining of the classic production. Watching the production will help students when they study Swan Lake as part of their course later this year.

Dance Teacher Miss O’Connor said: “Swan Lake is one of the most impressive ballet productions ever made. It’s inspirational and giving our students the opportunity to experience it 'live' is of great value to them and their BTEC course work.”
