Staff baked a range of treats in a bid to raise funds for the charity which is there for everyone affected by cancer, their family and friends. This is the fourth year that the school has taken part in the world’s biggest coffee morning. Staff baked a range of cakes including lemon drizzle cake, victoria sponge sandwich, chocolate brownies and coconut tarts.

Headteacher Mr Waller said: “Thank you to the staff who baked and purchased cakes for the coffee morning and to those who ate the cakes and generously donated to Macmillan Cancer Support. Thank you also goes to Mrs Croasdale who has organised this fundraising event for the last four years. We are delighted to have raised £148.87 to help Macmillan be there for people facing cancer.”
