A culmination of two year’s work by Year 13 Art and Photography work has been on show in the Art department in anticipation of a visit from the exam moderator.  The students presented one project which was personally chosen and driven by themselves, resulting is a very diverse selection of work showcasing the wide range of interests and skill of our students, and a 15 hour timed piece in response to criteria set out by the exam board. There was exceptional work from Abigail who even visited an eye hospital to fully understand the complexity and beauty of the human eye.

Within the photography display there was highly experimental work which explored ideas that included setting fire to flowers and taking photographs using infrared techniques. Mrs Wild said, “We are very proud of all the exceptional work the students have produced. The work was complemented by the moderator and will enable us to put on a fabulous Private View on June 30th.”
