A group of students travelled to Manchester this week to take part in an innovative in-schools programme which supports schools and community groups to run ensembles (‘Modulos’).
The programme takes place regionally and nationally twice a year and the event offers students the opportunity to form a part of a large scale symphony orchestra. The programme invites pupils to attend regardless of their level of skill or instruments available.
Music Teacher Miss Dawson said: “The Modulo Programme is a great opportunity for students to take part in a really special event. Being involved in such a large ensemble is something few of our pupils have the chance to do. It is a really inspiring experience for all involved.”
