A member of Carr Hill’s Handball Club has won branded t-shirts for the whole team thanks to his talent for design work.

Lancashire Sports Partnership set satellite clubs across Lancashire the challenge of designing their own club logo with the winning club receiving branded kit for all players.

Year 7 Edward had his design picked from the entries received meaning the school club won funding for t-shirts and jerseys.

PE Teacher and Handball Club Coach Mr Doughty said: “A number of our players entered the competition and I have to say I was impressed with all the entries submitted so thank you to all who took the time to create a design. Myself and all the club players are delighted that Edward’s design was selected as the winning entry. Now not only do we have a great club logo but also kit we can be proud to wear during training and tournaments.”
