Students from Carr Hill High School have raised £830 for Brian House Children's Hospice thanks to their efforts in the pool at an annual swimarathon.

Pupils volunteered their free time to raise funds for the school's charity of the year and were awarded with a shield for 'Most Money Raised' and 'Most Laps Completed'.

Mr Waller said: "I would like to thank all the students and staff involved in this year's swimarathon. I know that the time you have given and the money raised is greatly appreciated by Brian House Children's Hospice."
