Over 200 students from Year 7 through to Year 13 attended the Sportsmans Dinner- an event which celebrates sporting success across the school.
In addition to recognising those who have achieved, the event also serves as an opportunity to announce sports captains for the 2016-2017 year, the prestigious Sports Personality of the Year and the sports day winning college.
Ceres College Leader and PE teacher Miss Coulthard organises the event alongside the rest of the PE staff. Miss Coulthard said: "For PE staff this event is our opportunity to celebrate all the great sporting achievements of this year. In 2015/2016, we have taken part in so much and our students have shown true sportsmanship. Our students have competed across the region and the country and we are proud of every single achievement! I would also like to mention of students who have completed Young Leaders qualifications as they have given back to other students in our community running dance workshops and boccia tournaments.
Thank you to all the staff who helped organise the event and those who came along to support the students on the night. The event is a real highlight in the PE calendar and staff and students made it a night to remember."
