Pupils, from Year 7 to Year 12, were joined by guests as they accepted awards for progress, attainment, improvement and attendance presented by the College Leaders and Head of Post 16. Six students, one from each college, were presented with the prestigious Student of the Year title. Each pupil was selected by their College Leader for their effort, attitude and positive influence on others. The students selected received their name on their college plaque and are given the Student of the Year tie to wear throughout the next academic year.

Headteacher Mr Waller said: “The turn out for the College Celebrations was fantastic and it was wonderful for our students to have the opportunity to share their successes with their parents, carers, peers and teachers. These students have worked incredibly hard this year whether that be by progressing in a subject they find challenging, setting an example to others or having 100% attendance. Whatever the reason, all our pupils awarded are worthy winners and I thank them for the positive impact they have made on the school community.”
