On Thursday 7th July our Year 13 students marked the end of their seven year education at Carr Hill High School & Sixth Form Centre.

Students came to school in the morning to join staff for a farewell breakfast before attending a final presentation asssembly where awards were handed out to pupils and gifts given to staff. In the evening, Year 13 headed to the Villa, Wrea Green for their Leavers Ball.

Head of Post 16, Mr Napier, said: "It was a day of mixed emotions for staff and students. Whilst we are delighted to see these young people head off to university, start apprenticeship or full time work we will genuinely miss their presence at school. Likewise our students are both excited and nervous about starting their new chapters.

"When I look around at Year 13 I see some truely talented, motivated and kind young people and I look forward to hearing from them in the furture. I wish all of this year's Year 13 all the best and I hope they will look back on their time with us fondly for many years to come."
