A group of 10 Carr Hill students travelled to London this week to be a part of the National Orchestra for All event at Alexandra Palace.

Our students were joined by another 160 pupils from schools across the UK and took part in an orchestral workshop and performance of The New World Suite. The trip follows a regional event at The Bridgewater Hall in March.

Whilst in London pupils had the chance to see a performance of Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre which was followed by a meal at Planet Hollywood in London's West End. In addition to this, they took in some of London's  most famous landmarks on a walking tour of the city.

The school has already been invited to participate in the regional and national days in 2017, with the national event on July 11th at Cecil Sharp House in Central London.
