Year 7 students have raised a record breaking £1,068.76 for the Friends of the Hwange Trust by selling postcards with their individual giraffe designs.

The school has been raising funds for this charity by selling bespoke postcards for a number of years. Each year the students have gained more and more support and this time they have raised the highest  amount yet.

Art teacher Miss Wignall said: “I’m so proud of the Year 7 students. They have designed some exceptional postcards and have worked hard to sell them in aid of charity. Is is fantastic that so many of the students’ family and friends have supported this fundraising project. I would like to thank everyone who donated and helped our students raise such a great deal of money.”
