As of Monday 14th March parents and carers will be able to report student absence through the school website by filling out a simple form.

The link to the form can be found on the homepage of the school website under ‘Useful Links’ ‘Absence Reporting’ or via  http://www.carrhillschool.com/absence-reporting

Parents and carers will need to fill out the form which includes the reason for the student absence and the parent/carers contact details. Once the form has been submitted the parent/carer will be contacted by the school immediately to confirm the form has been received. Parents/carers should only respond if they have not submitted a form.

Headteacher Mr Waller said: “This new facility is designed to offer parents and carers a quick and simple way of reporting an absence at a time before school starts which is convenient to them. The form means parents and carers will not need to call in, or wait to speak to someone which can occasionally be the case when a number of calls are coming through just before the school day starts. Parents and carers will be sent a copy of the form they have completed immediately after it has been submitted and should only contact the school if they have not submitted a form.”
