Maddie said: “The hairdresser cut my hair and platted it. It was then sent off to The Little Princess Trust. I’ve seen TV adverts about how cancer affects so many people and it makes you want to do what you can to help. It felt good to know that my donation would help others.”
Maddie’s College Leader, Mrs Beasley, said: “Maddie’s kind and thoughtful donation is an example of how aware our students are of those less fortunate than them and how they might be able to make a difference to those peoples’ lives in whatever way they can. I’m very proud of what Maddie has done and I’m sure her donation will help many young people.”
