Amongst the many students who achieved impressive grades was Louis. Louis came away with a fantastic 4 A*s amongst his results. Louis told us how he was very nervous before opening the sealed envelope containing his results. He said: “I did lots of revision in the run-up to the exams and I’m really pleased that all the hard work has paid off.”

 

Ms Hilton-Peet, the school’s Assistant Headteacher said:  “I’m really thrilled to see so many students pleased with their results today; showing that hard work and dedication have helped our students achieve fantastically well.”

 

Meanwhile, students in year 11 and the sixth form have only a few weeks to wait until receiving their final results.  A-Level results can be collected from the school at 08.00am on Thursday 13 August, with GCSE results available from 08.00am on Thursday 20th August.

 

Head teacher Mr Waller said: “At Carr Hill High School we are committed to ensuring that every single student has the opportunity to achieve to the best of their ability. These results show that are pupils are making great progress and well on track to achieve and exceed their target grades. These figures are the result of hard work and commitment on behalf of students, staff, parents and carers and I thank you all for your dedication.”
