A group of Year 13 Government and Politics students have been on a trip to the People's History Museum in Manchester.

The trip aimed to help with the revision of political ideologies as the museum covers a lot about liberalism and socialism in a fun and interactive way whilst also being very informative.

The People’s History Museum in Manchester is the national museum of democracy. The museum aims to engage, inspire and inform diverse audiences by showing ‘There have always been ideas worth fighting for’.

Government and Politics teacher Miss Isherwood said: “It was a really good opportunity for the students to be able to see how the theory they have learned has been applied in practice too. It was also a fun way of revising some of the topics for their exams as well as giving them a wider contextual knowledge.”
