Thanks to the support of parents, carers and staff Carr Hill High School has received almost £100 from easyfundraising.

Easyfundraising offers people the chance to purchase their items from over 2,500 retailers and raise money for the cause of their choice at the same time. This is exactly what those in support of the Friends of Carr Hill have been doing and as a result the school has received a cash boost which will go back into the school community directly benefiting students.

All people need to do is visit easyfundraising.org.uk and click through to the retailer of their choice. For example, if purchasing shoes from John Lewis simply go to the easyfundraising site and click through to John Lewis. This tells John Lewis the shopper has come from easyfundraising. The price of the shoes is exactly the same but, after the shoes have been purchased, John Lewis provides a cash reward that can be turned into a donation for a good cause, easyfundraising collect this and send it at no extra cost.

Chair of the Friends of Carr Hill, Mrs Croasdale, said: “Easyfundraising is a great way to raise money for the school. If you are doing any online shopping please do have a look to see if the retailer is registered with easyfundraising as every penny really does make a difference. On behalf of the friends of Carr Hill I would like to thank all those who have already signed up to easyfundraising and helped to raise almost £100 for the school.

“All the money the Friends of Carr Hill raise through events and other activities goes straight back into the school community directly benefiting students across a range of curricular and extra-curricular initiatives.”
