Everyone knows the importance of having breakfast each morning and it is never more so the case than when you have a big day ahead.

With this in mind Carr Hill is offering all students who are siting a morning exam the opportunity to have a complimentary breakfast to help ensure they are ready for their exam. Pupils in Year 10, 11, 12 and 13, who are due to sit a morning exam, will be able to pick up a breakfast free of charge from the school canteen between Monday 11th May and Friday 19th June.

The school will provide the service between 8.15am and 8.40am each day and all students will need to do is present their exam timetable to a member of the canteen staff. There will be a choice of croissants, oven baked doughnuts, toast, yoghurts, fruit and bottled water.

Assistant Headteacher Ms Hilton-Peet said: “It’s a busy and often stressful time of year for students across the country. We know our pupils are working hard and have a lot to consider so it’s easy to forget something like breakfast.

“However, an exam is like a mental marathon and it is important that the brain has enough energy to complete it. I would encourage all our pupils to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast on offer as eating a good breakfast before you sit an exam can really make a difference to your performance.”
