Carr Hill High School is committed to offering its students a multitude of extra-curricular activities. The school continues to launch new clubs throughout the year always giving pupils further opportunities to enhance their learning outside of the classroom.

The newest club to launch is the Breakfast Football Club. The club will take place before school every Tuesday with coaches from AFC Flyde running each session. Students from Year 7, 8 and 9, of all abilities, are invited to attend the weekly club which begins on Tuesday 20th January.

PE teacher Mr Doughty said: “We are keen to give all students the opportunities to get involved in extra-curricular activities. Offering a football club before school gives pupils who may have commitments after school the chance to get involved in the sport.

“Students will also benefit from taking part in exercise in the morning as it can lead to clear thinking and increased energy levels throughout the day. The club will be a fun and positive way to start the day and I encourage pupils of all abilities to come along.”

The club begins on Tuesday 20th January and takes place in the Sports Dome between 8.15-8.45am. Students should speak to Mr Doughty if they would like more information.
