HUNDREDS of students joined in the celebrations for World Book Day at Carr Hill High School and Sixth Form.

Where’s Wally, Tiggers were the favourite outfits but The Cat in the Hat and Ninja Turtles were also in abundance at the Royal Avenue school where students and staff did their utmost to dress as favourite literary characters.

Fancy dress was also on the cards for members of staff who dressed up as The Hungry Caterpillar, The Mad Hatter and the Woman in Black amongst others.
