Year 11 students from Carr Hill High School attended the Remembrance Service in Kirkham on Sunday 10th November to show their respects on behalf of the school community.

Students Yolanda, Emma and Ollie also laid a wreath donated by the school at cenotaph at the Kirkham Memorial Park.

Headteacher Mr Waller said: “It is important that we continue to honour the sacrifices that so many servicemen and servicewomen made for our country and for us to be where we are today. It is also important that we continue to educate our young people about WW1, WW2 and later conflicts. I would like to thank Yolanda, Emma and Ollie for representing the school at the local service.”
