Carr Hill High School's PE faculty has been awarded Secondary School of the Year at the Fylde Sports Awards 2019. Carr Hill’s PE department has been recognised for the sports offer it provides for Carr Hill students and those in the wider community such as local primary schools.

The Fylde Council Sport’s award is a huge achievement and the result of the work and effort of not only staff but also students such as the school’s many Sports Leaders who help to run events and activities giving others the chance to experience new sports and develop their sportsmanship.”

Headteacher Mr Waller said: “Thank you to all those involved in the delivery of PE at Carr Hill High School. Our PE offer is one of the school’s strengths and I’m delighted that the work our staff and students do has been recognised by Fylde Council Sport. Congratulations to all involved in PE at Carr Hill; High School.”
