Carr Hill students share music with local primary school

Year 10’s spent the afternoon at Strike Lane Primary School performing for the students and giving them the opportunity to try out some instruments.

Carr Hill students performed two Beatles songs and a Bob Marley song to fit in with what Strike Lane pupils had been learning about recently. Following this, Carr Hill students gave Strike Lane pupils the opportunity to try out their instruments including the keyboard, the bass, the acoustic guitar and the drums. Strike Lane pupils also performed two songs to Carr Hill students and staff.

Music Teacher Mr Brown said:  “We had a wonderful afternoon at Strike Lane Primary School sharing music between our students and theirs. I would like to thank our Year 10’s Emily, Max and Tom for performing and sharing their instruments. I would also like to thank the Strike Lane pupils for the songs they played and sang to us and for getting so involved in trying out the different instruments.”
