Carr Hill High School has launched its annual Food Bank Appeal supporting the Fylde Foodbank and The Salvation Army.

Students are being encouraged to donate what they can to the appeal in order to help those who need it most this Christmas. The school is taking donations of tinned food, packet food, crackers, toiletries and new toys or games. Students can donate via their Year Leader’s Office. The deadline for donations is Friday 14th December.

The Salvation Army said:  “Carr Hill students answered our prayers last year, thank you.”

Headteacher Mr Waller said: “In previous years, students, their families and staff have really got behind the appeal and I hope that support will continue this year. If you can, please help us to help those less fortunate this festive period. A small donation really can make a big difference.”
