Students studying for their Psychology A Level spent the morning at Uclan with Dr. Andrew Morley, Principlal Lecturer at the School of Psychology.

Year 13 had the chance to undertake some memory experiments before they were shown ‘EvoFit’ – which UCLan developed to help catch criminals. It’s the most successful system for profiling in the world currently. Students were also showed around all the labs and were able to spend time with current psychology students at UCLan and ask them questions about university.

Teacher of Psychology Mr Graham-Hyde said: “The trip was an opportunity for students to get a taster of what it would be like to study for a degree in the field of psychology. The facilities at Uclan are incredibly impressive and the tour certainly showed our students how exciting studying for a degree in this field could be.”
