This year marks 60 years since Carr Hill High School was officially opened by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Kent and the school is celebrating with an anniversary magazine.

Students past and present have shared their memories and photographs of their time at Carr Hill High School with contributions coming from those who attended the school in its first few years to those who are pupils in 2018.

Headteacher Mr Waller said: “I would like to thank the former and current students who contributed to this magazine and our local newspapers for sharing past articles and photos. Without this help we would not have been able to show a snapshot of life at the school over the last 60 years. I hope that the school, and wider, community will enjoy looking back over Carr Hill’s history through the eyes of many of our students and reading news stories from over the years.”
