A group of Year 12 students recently spent the day taking photographs of St Michael’s Church and the grounds which surround the historic Kirkham building.

The students have just completed their Advanced Skills Project which prepares them for the next stage of their course which they will begin in September 2016.

Photography teacher, Miss Wignall said: “The students were experimenting with HDR photography. So the images are created by taking the same image with different exposures and then putting them all together in Photoshop. This gives a high definition, stylised look. They really enjoyed it.”
