Carr Hill High School was nominated by the local music service to become a member of Music Mark- a subject association for music education, representing and supporting music services and over 12,000 instrumental and classroom music teachers.

The school’s Music teachers have been commended for their inspirational dedication to a broad and balanced curriculum offer. As a member of Music Mark the school will be able to use the organisation’s logo, which provides evidence of partnership working with the local music service. Teachers will also have access to exclusive resources including CPD (Continuous Professional Development) materials to further develop the quality of teaching for our students.

Music teacher Miss Dawson said: “ We are delighted to have been recognised by Music Mark for the curriculum offer we provide our students with. We work hard to deliver a varied offer both inside and outside of the classroom with many extra-curricular opportunities including the whole school production, the school choir and regular concerts throughout the year.

“We thank our local music service for nominating us and look forward to being able to further improve the music offer in the school with the resources available to us through the Music Mark membership.”
