Carr Hill’s Public Speaking Team impress at the Business and Professional Women's Regional Final

Carr Hill’s Public Speaking Team, which consists of Year 11 students Sarah, Lauren and Alex have yet another trophy to add to the impressive list of awards they have already won this year.   

The team travelled to Billington on Saturday with Mr Dellow and Ms Fry to take part in the regional Business and Professional Women's Regional Final.  Whilst they didn't get through to the national final this year, they did themselves and the School proud! The students gave their best performance yet and Lauren won the prize for best chairperson.  

 Ms Fry said: “This year, the team has been most successful having been awarded four trophies for team and individual performances.  They have been an excellent team to work with as they have trained with real commitment and enthusiasm.  They have represented the School superbly and become extremely effective at speaking in formal meetings.”
