Carr Hill Sixth Form Centre hosted an information evening to inform students of the range of new to September 2016 courses. Students now have even more reason to choose to study at Carr Hill Sixth Form Centre thanks to the introduction of a number of bespoke diplomas.

Post 16 study options now include diplomas in: Digital Media, Performing Arts, Health & Social Care, Sport, Construction and Science. These courses have been created especially to meet the requirements of students and will be offered in addition to the existing AS, A2 and BTEC qualifications.

Assistant Headteacher Mr Napier said: “By enhancing Technical and Combined Pathways courses our students will now have more choice than ever before. We are proud to be able to offer a sixth form experience to help students succeed and make their dreams a reality.”

We don’t design programmes to cater for thousands of students; we design our programmes around individuals.  We’re large enough to cope with the demands of delivering challenging Post 16 programmes and providing high quality support for Sixth Form students, but we’re small enough to make sure that our programmes are designed specifically for our students and that they get the all the support and encouragement needed.”

More details about the changes to Carr Hill Sixth Form Centre courses can be found in the eCopy of our progress magazine.
