As the project progresses throughout the year the students will create bird boxes, feeders and other items to support the school’s natural wildlife. Once these have been created, the pupils will build cameras, using Raspberry Pi, so the school can observe the animals.

The group of 15 students who are members of the club included Year 8 Jess. Jess said: “STEM Club is a good way to learn more about science, maths and technology. So far we have been outside and explored the school’s natural environment and we are now working on ideas to make it better for the animals who live in it.”
