The awards event, which was held at the University of Central Lancashire, was sponsored by the Ogden Trust; which promotes the teaching and learning of physics. Louis attended the event with his parents and received a certificate and £25 book token for his enthusiasm and talent for the subject.
Louis’ physics teacher Miss Higgins said: “This event highlights the best young physicists from across the region and I’m delighted that Louis’ natural aptitude has been recognised.”
