Yesterday morning parents and carers waved goodbye to 50 of our Year 10 and 11 students who were off on the adventure of a lifetime, a trip to New York with their friends. The journey went smoothly and there were no problems or delays, they arrived at their hotel to get settled and then out for a short walk down to Times Square and something to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Their first day today has been very busy, they were up early for breakfast at the hotel, followed by a subway ride down to the Ferry port. They sailed over to Liberty Island, and spent some time with the Statue of Liberty. The views back to Manhattan island from there are fantastic! They then visited the Brooklyn Bridge.

This evening, they are planning to go up the Empire State Building, which will give them spectacular views over the city as the sun goes down. Can't wait to see the photos tomorrow.
