Last Friday, 11th March, the school community as a whole, showed their solidarity and support of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine by holding a fundraising day. Students and staff were asked to wear something with the colours blue and yellow, and donate a minimum of £1 to the Disasters Emergency Committee's Appeal to help the people of Ukraine.

Students were allowed to wear a yellow or blue t-shirt or jumper with their blazer, wear blue and yellow face paints or make-up, hair accessories, ribbons, scarfs, socks etc. They could wear blue or yellow trainers if they had them, or blue or yellow tights or trousers. There were also a range of items to purchase in school if needed. The atmosphere around school showed how many students and staff wanted to show their support and we are so grateful to all who donated, as the total was an amazing £1154.39! Thank you to all who showed their support. A few photos from the day can be seen here -
