A message from Sam Whiteside, College and School Liaison Officer from Blackpool and the Fylde College about their school leavers virtual open events.
"With the return to schools for students, here at Blackpool and The Fylde College we have been developing content for our virtual open events. Below you will find an updated schedule of events for school leavers for the rest of the academic year.
Our social media channels will also have information on our Live Streams which are hosted by myself and my colleague Katie, including chats with members of college and special guests, which we broadcast during the events for an immersive experience and the chance to ask questions live through Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
We have a particular focus on our 28th April event for parents of prospective college students, where we will have special guests attending to give an insight for parents on how the college is best placed to look after our students, their education, wellbeing, and career aspirations. Parents are a hugely important part of our students' lives - and together, we're all members of the B&FC community.
I have included a link below for our sign up to our open events which anyone can access in advance and be kept informed of all our events and any other important information concerning applying to B&FC. There is also a competition to be in with a chance to win a £50 Amazon gift card by signing up, all details of which can be found on our website."
