As a school community we congratulate all of our amazing Year 11 students on their GCSE achievements announced today, after an extremely difficult and challenging time. A few students came to School to see Headteacher, Mr Waller and Assistant Headteacher, Miss Wareing, to celebrate their success and chat about their achievements.

Matthew, who received a staggering 6 Grade 9 GCSE's and is looking forward to studying Further Mathematics amongst other subjects, said "I am so proud of all of us, and it just shows that all the hard work over the last few years paid off". He was joined by Rachel, Bethany and Jasmine, all Grade 9 achievers, who will be going on to study a variety of subjects, including Religious Studies and Biology.

Mr Waller explains, "We are very proud of the achievements of our Year 11. They were a fantastic group of students who faced unprecedented challenges in not being able to sit their examinations and the huge uncertainties which have dominated the news in recent days. These grades reflect the work they have done throughout their courses and are a credit to them. We wish all our Year 11 the very best for the next stage of their lives."

"We are so incredibly proud of our Year 11's; they worked really hard and have demonstrated a huge amount of resilience. We are pleased that they have received fair grades and wish them lots of luck in their future studies/employment", Miss Wareing wanted the Year 11 students to know.

As a school, we are proud to belong, and these results show that even through times of difficulty and uncertainty, that hard work really does result in fantastic achievements. Well done to all our Year 11's, and best of luck for the future.
