Carr Hill High School won the EFL Girl’s Cup with an unbeaten result- winning five and drawing two of their games.

Carr Hill entered two teams in to the competition with the A team taking the title and the B Team coming in an impressive third place. Carr Hill is now through to the regional competition in January, representing Fleetwood Town. Players of the tournament were Years 8 Holly, who scored 10 goals, and Makenzie, who scored seven goals.

PE Teacher Mr Doughty said: “The best wins came against LSA (won 1-0) who ended up as runners up and also coming back from 2-1 down to beat Hodgson 3-2! It was a superb team effort from all the girls in both teams!”
