Carr Hill student Erin has been crowned the Under 12’s Northwest Champion over the summer break whilst also winning a bronze medal with her espoir group at the British Championships.

Erin became the Northwest Champion thanks to her impressive Club and Ribbon routines, both of which were personal bests for her. Erin also competed in a team alongside fellow Carr Hill student, Year 7 Emily. The students competed against 10 other teams at the British Championship achieving a combined score from Free and Ball routines which earned them a bronze medal.

Erin said: “I like competing because it is a fun experience. I like learning something new and in every competition you do that because they are all different- you never know exactly what to expect. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved this summer and ready for the next competition.”
