Last night four of our GCSE Art students attended a presentation evening to reveal Blackpool and the Fylde College’s ‘Young Artist of the Year’.
Selected from schools across the Fylde we were honoured that four of our students had been chosen to exhibit their work. Lucy, Rosie, Faye and Mia each had two pieces displayed. The work that the girls entered came from their year 10 GCSE coursework and demonstrated their observational skills through a variety of drawings.
Head of Art, Mrs Wild said, “The girls did extremely well, and the fact that they were all chosen is testament to their talent ad aptitude for art. We are very proud that they have had this opportunity and we hope they enjoyed the evening”.
