Students from Year 8 have battled it out against 8 other schools to come 3rd in an interschool Sportshall Athletic Competition.
The event which was run by the Wyre & Fylde School Games Organiser, Lee Cadwallader, took place at Blackpool Sports Centre and saw students from various schools across the region competing for the title of Sportshall Athletics Champions.
Both the Girls’ and Boys’ teams did exceptionally well both placing 3rd out of nine. PE Teacher Mr Doughty said, “Both teams gave their all, physically and mentally. As their teacher I can’t ask for than that. It was a great achievement coming third and I’m very proud of them all”.
