Carr Hill Students who have been studying for Diplomas in Construction and the Built Environment at Preston Vocational Centre (PVC) received their awards this week.

The course is designed to inpire and equip those interested in a career in the construction sector with the skills needed, and provides opportunity to gain the knowledge and ability to support progression into a specialised Level 3 qualification in Construction or a variety of apprenticeships.

20 students received awards with four special recognition being given to:

Liam Coburn for Outstanding Achievement in Painting and Decorating

Kane Coates Dewhurst for Outstanding Achievement in Plastering

Maxim Meadows for Outstanding Achievement in Building Maintenance

Josh McMahon for Outstanding Effort.

Head of Sixth Form Mr Napier said, "We are delighted to be able to offer this course and be able to partner with Prestn Vocational Centre in this way.  We are very proud of our students for achieving their diplomas and wish them all the very best in their future careers".
