Students Lucy, Lauren, Adam, Jack and Iona are part of the West Lancs Explore Scouts and all need to raise £595 each to fund their trip.
The school is supporting the students’ fundraising efforts and so far the pupils have been able to sell fudge to help raise money. Year 11 Iona said: “I want to go on the Jamboree because it is a great opportunity to meet scouts from different places and learn about their culture.
“The school has been really supportive of my fundraising efforts particularly my mentor Miss Webster and my teachers Ms England and Miss North.”
