In investigating the fundamental principles of how the universe works, Physics is a study for those with an enquiring mind. It is the basis on which all forms of technology are built. The course promotes sound understanding and application of physical concepts along with self-reliance in tackling tasks, both theoretical and practical.
Progression
Physics is regarded as a high quality qualification leading to a wide choice of Higher Education courses and careers. These include various types of professional engineering, medical technologies (e.g. Radiography) or careers where logical and mathematical skills are important (e.g. Accountancy, Architecture, etc). Some companies even provide sponsorship for the study of these courses at university.

5 GCSEs A*-C/9-4 including a B/6 in Chemistry,Core Science, Additional Science & Mathematics
Course Content may include
Particles and Radiation, Waves, Mechanics and Materials and Electricity.
