Computer Science is understanding in detail, how computer systems actually work. Computers pervade every aspect of modern life. The microprocessor that lies at the heart of every computing system is found absolutely everywhere, from the PC on your desk to laptops, PDAs, mobile phones, cars and microwave ovens.

Progression
The majority of our students go on to further education at university to study courses such as Computer Science or Games Development. Others go directly into employment to use their programming skills in a working environment.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs A*-C/9-4 including B/6 in ICT/Computer Science & Maths

Course Content may include

Software and Software Development, Programming, Exchanging Data and Legal, Moral, Ethical and Cultural Issues.
